General Mach Discussion / Re: zeroing axis ( A axis ) in G Code
« on: May 03, 2017, 08:22:19 AM »
Hello Rich
I only want to reset the DRO of the A axis.
So that with a new start of the program, the Dro is set to 0.
I don't understand anything about making macros

General Mach Discussion / zeroing axis ( A axis ) in G Code
« on: May 02, 2017, 03:37:48 PM »
Hello to all ,
can someone give me some hints  how to Programm a axis zero in the G code ?
So my rotary A axis got no homing position. Always I start the program I have to reset to zero by pushing the button.
Now I thought about programming it in a g code at the end of the program or maybe at the beginning ....doesn't matter ....
Is it possible to do that by a gcode ?

Thank you

Hello Together

I use a mill and a lathe. Both with Mach3 . Now I work offten with more tools and sometimes If I correct a measure , I want to get in the program on the tool I have done a correction.

I choose the line I want to get in ...push the green N ( or start from here ) but it didn´t work.  Have someone the same problem with this.

I got this issue on both machines.

Thank You

Hello Hood,

ok the issue is the same with and without license. Today I put in the license but the issue didn´t dissapear.

I think, that the problem is G94 in the first line of the programm.  So the problem will be that Mach didn´t recognize that it has to work in mm/rev when G76 is called.

There must be a bug with G76 or with G94 in the first line.

Now that I put in G95 after the toolchange the issue dissapeared and G76 works .

Got nothing to do with the license in this case I think.

Mach3 is a strange thing  :D

But anyway. Thank you a lot to be on my disposal.

Regards

Hello Hood
I found the issue.
After-hours the toolchange i put in G95 and now it
works.
I normaly work in G94 modus ...
I thought that the G76 Modus changed automaticaly in G95

Hood, can you do something with the XML ?

Maybe it works better after you made some changes.
