Is that ESS board supporting for THC? If it is, is there an any document or information about how to do that, methods and configurations?

If you are looking for external jog buttons;

You can use a usb device to send up and down button to mach3 with modbus. And just create a brain file for use the usb device's IO s as an z++/z-- jog input...

But If you want to use this inputs as a thc. There is a delay around 100ms in modbus with brains. You need a plugin to discount the delays.

Is your controller card working after you open the mach3 and click ok for errors?

I was same problem with my usb card but I didnt work on it after I understand my card is not supporting thc signals. But after I click ok for errors the card was working...

I think its an installation problem or bug, just a thought.

Go to http://www.kd-dietz.com/ and download the machscreen software.

Install the software and open it.

Open your screen file (usually under mach3 main folder).

Found the Mist Button and click on it.

There will be a one more window for settings dro and buttons oem codes etc. Go to there and click on hotkey after press a button on your keyboard which button do you want to setup hotkey for mist.

Save screen and open mach3.

Hi all,

Is there an any document or information about how to use and configure the THC plugin at the machsupport's plugin page?

Looking nice but I couldnt find the any document about plugin.

And how to use analog input for mach3? As I know Its impossible to use analog input from parallel port. And If its using modbus, what is the speed? Is there an anybody used this plugin?

Any suggests?

UNLESS that card was designed to run a THC from inside itself.

I attached the cards document. I have no idea about is that card supporting running thc inside itself? Have you got an any idea?

And which usb or ethernet motion control cards supporting thc? And how can I use THC with the usb or ethernet based control card?

You can transfer the info from the Gcode program  using  #vars, or Tool#, or S word value just to name a few common ways.  Then update your THC from these values via Serial to the THC controller.

IF in the UK side of the big pond you may want to consider using the RAZORDANCE THC controller. All the hard work is already done. You just add in your updating protocol and you are ready to run.

Ok are you selling the razordance systems? Can u send me a price offer? And what about shipping to Turkey? And can u share your comments about razordance systems it will be great.
Is there an any distrubutor in Turkey for razordance systems? And if razordance wants I can sell and use the items in Turkey market. So I know the market...

As to Tom's method with an ESS he might not like it if I gave away the secret handshake.

I am not sure about it. Because I am just telling Mr. Tom's system as an example. I am just asking about what is possible about thc's and what is not possible with ess smooth ethernet card. But if it is gonna be problem or Tom wil not like the information sharing no problem. But I am asking something about ESS's system and showing Mr. Tom's system as an example.

Sure, I buy the license from artsoft and I load it. And now I can see the text at the bar which one is top of the window

mach3: Licensed to:"My company name"

But before I buy the license, software was used for a more than one week. But just in demo mode there are no pirate license or something like that. So now my mach3 is licensed.

NOW with his newest system the THC controls the z as well but that is DONE outside of Mach3 with the ESS.

Wow pretty nice! But how controlling the z axis from mach3 and from standalone in the same time with ess? So it that means in candcnc's system serial port is just using for send src volts. Standalone and control with mach3 at the same time in ethercut system? I have an ERROR in my brain ! How?

What you are trying to do with auto presetting of the Machine based on material is not new it has been done before , several different ways (;-) .

What is that different ways? Please let me know. As I know one of the this method is candcnc. But what is other ways. I am gonna control hypertherm too in the same time.
