i'm sorry, should have explained more.
i had the machine over and controller over 5 years now.
everything was working in machine 3. when i installed mach4hobby,
i worked on the motor calibration and got all that working.(in mach4hobby)
the spindle was working as should but i upgraded to mach4hobby 4.2.0.4082
and now spindle not pausing. Thanks joeaverage

p.s. at no time do i mess with the wiring of any kind.
and i'm sorry but i don't know anything about the wiring unless
i ask the manufacturer.

hi all,    i'm having trouble with the spindle starting and at about 20% it starts making the first XY movement
before spindle fully starts. if i start at Z zero, it scratches the stock. and it has a Z movement BEFORE XY
in the control configuration, spindle, checked = wait on spindle to stabilize to 95 percent. (was 90%)
spindle override delay; 1500ms ... (was 500ms)
THANKS for any help !

maybe i'm missing something here(probably)
is there a setting or pin i need to activate ?
or a check mark i missed ?
i "DO" want it t show true RPM
in the edit screen, it does show TrueRPM in the setting.
so i should be seeing what the gcode is running the spindle at ?
THANKS bryannab

i did save it as a new set.... Thanks for that idea.
i WANT it to show the RPM as the Gcode is running.
but it doesn't. i'm assuming that is what TrueRPM is suppose to do.
Thanks

Thanks MN300,
i work completely in G54. never use offset or G55.G56....etc.
the only thing that changes is the tool diameter and the length i set when
i set the tool in the spindle(when i rezero Z.
i have a simp0le life but love my job.
THANKS again !

Mach4 General Discussion / Mach4 SRO
« on: February 13, 2019, 09:53:39 AM »
i hope i'm in the correct discussion.
in mach4, the spindle area. is the SRO(bottom right in Mach4Mill) what i can set the spindle
RMP to or is that what the spindle is running as it goes thru the gcode ?
if i set an RMP, nothing happens and no readout is shown while code is running.
THANKS for any help !
