Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Mach4demo & csmio-ip-s HELP
« on: September 06, 2018, 07:05:08 PM »
Thanks for both of your help.
Problem solved.
Microsoft Visual C ++ redistributable package: vc_redist.x86.exe had not installed properly. There was an error regarding microsoft MSU file.
Which required me to download a windows update.  Then reinstall visual C.

Thanks for your help Craig.

I have done all those steps you have showed me. But it wont allow me to select a plugin file in the add plugin folder. Mach4 wants *.m4plugw files.
And my file extensions are *.m4pw. I even tried renaming the extension. And mach4 really hated that!

Mach4 General Discussion / Mach4demo & csmio-ip-s HELP
« on: September 06, 2018, 01:34:02 AM »
Hi.
Im toying with the idea of moving to mach4 from mach3.

Ive installed the demo version and plugin for CS labs csmio-ip-s motion controller.
When i run the demo. I cant select the csmio motion controller. It dosent show up in he options
Menu. Ive checked the plugin folder and the files are there.

Does it need to be a full version of mach4hobby to be able to test a motion controller?

Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

CS-Lab / Re: HELP new to csmio-s and MPG module.
« on: December 03, 2017, 08:53:44 PM »
Problem solved. Mach3 does not require any port and pin information on the MPG config page. It doesn't even need the mpg#1 ticked either. It seems to work fine either way. I think I will do a short YouTube video showing my findings at a later stage.

Thanks Mark4. I do have mpg#1 checked in mach3. But my documentation dosent show any values for ports and pins. And no I havent looked at mach3's diagnosis page. So thanks for the tip.

CS-Lab / HELP new to csmio-s and MPG module.
« on: December 01, 2017, 07:51:10 PM »
Im having trouble with getting the DRO moving when turning the pulse wheel. I can get mach3 to see the change in axis and resolution. The MPG module LED is flickering with the detents on the wheel. I have mach3 mpg#1 selected in ports and pins. The canbus address is 32. So i have set both port address in ports and pins to 32.
Does anyone have a screen cap of their MPG inputs they could share please. Or an idea as to what im missing?
I must also say im not using the handheld pendant. I have my own pulse wheel and axis selects wired up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I should also note. I dont have any drives or motors connect as yet.

« on: June 10, 2017, 07:53:25 PM »
Hi. Ive been trying to get hold of these guys about buying their modio mc-01 board. Their website is still showing no stock. Its seems like its been over a year like that. Has anyone got one of these in their cnc project. Do they work well?

Galil / Galil RIO 47200 modbus setup
« on: March 13, 2017, 03:11:24 AM »
Hi. Im looking at using the Galil RIO 47200 in my current cnc project for simple inputs from POTs and buttons.
I thought when I purchased it. That I could program it with ladder. But it turns out only the pocket version does this
By converting the ladder into Galil's programming language. Does anyone have any program examples that transmits
IO data via modbus to mach3 that they would be willing to share with me please?
