My NEMA 23 Stepper Motor: KL23H2100-30-4BM is engergized when i turn on the breakout board and load mach3. They jump a little when I use the up and down arrows, but they will not turn either way.

My Syba controller card generates 4.92 volts from only a few pins as per the attached picture. Is my problem that the signal from Mach3 isn't generating output from my c10 breakout board to the stepper drive. I only have 2x drive wired so far.

I'm new, but I'm pretty old. 68. My son, Gus, is a machinist but he has to work and doesn't have time for this right now. We bought a very old Rock Mill running Mach3 from another fellow in town who had the mill in his garage. Last night, we wrote some Gcode in Microsoft Word and saved it as a US ASCII plain test file. Then we tried File and Load Gcode from the Mach3 menu and it quickly shows up on the Mach3 screen, but it does not run. Also, it is not a .tap file. Where might I look in this forum for some discussion of .tap files and how to use or convert ascii files? thank you.
