The problem is not my ability to write the program. the problem is the time to write the program. I will probably have to write some gcode though. I have a project to finish this week.

I believe the rectangular pocket wizard only does one hole at a time.

Yes that also. If you know vinyl fence it is the holes in the posts and then the holes in the rails in which the pickets go in.

I need a program to cut a series of rectangular pockets. I need to be able to enter the variables and have the machine cut my materials. The variable needed are as follows.
Size of bit
Width of material
Length of material
Thickness of material
Width of pocket
Length of Pocket
Number of pockets
Distance between pockets
Feed rate
Pockets are always centered on the width
The pockets would generally be cut along the Y
Cutting first pocket one size and the second another size would be helpful.
I am willing to reimburse someone for their time to create such a program.
I build Vinyl fences and this is to cut my materials.

Ok i get it. it is the printer port driver that is the problem.

Thats a simple fix. I just hope setting up a smoothstepper is not too hard.

Is there any way to get Mach 3 to run in Windows 7 64 bit? the current computer on the cnc is horrible. I hate having to transport files by stick every time i want to cut something. And converting this computer to 32 bit now is such a pain as i would not want to attempt it. Any ideas?

May seem strange but i want to create a single axes cnc machine. I want it to control the depth stops on my metal brake. Wondering if i could create a screen through Mach three to do this? I have really not done much  in scripting . Can i use Visual basic to create the forms with buttons and DRO?

Not sure what you mean by tool path rotated or offset. My 0,0,0 was in the bottom left corner of my work piece. Y+ going away from me and X+ to the right Z+ going up

I am probably doing it wrong but i pause using feed hold and when i hit cycle start again the bit took off in the wrong direction. How do you pause a program. (so you can move clamps ex:)
