General Mach Discussion / Re: material orientation on table
« on: June 20, 2012, 11:02:54 PM »
Hi Russ,
By the way, my name is Joseph.
I was handed a G6 table with a mach3 controller,
with absolutely no instructions.
From day 1 the table has malfunctioned.
We have finally worked through all the mechanical problems with the table.
While waiting on line with Canada, I remember reading something about how to orient
a piece of material on the table without having it straight with the axis of
the table. I recall the basic instructions, 1) locate 1st corner 2) move to another corner and enter the coordinates in a pop-up box telling the machine this is now the other end of the plate.
I know this is extremely vague and I have no background to draw from.
Pretend you're talking to an absolute idiot.
Thank you for taking the time to at least read my post.
HELP IF YOU CAN!!!!
