General Mach Discussion / Re: Hot Key, space bar
« on: May 26, 2014, 09:15:21 PM »
Yes, "config>hot key" does show the hot key assignment for each button, if any.  My problem is that pressing the space bar repeats the last button that was clicked with the mouse.  This is the feature that I want to eliminate, if possible.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

The space bar repeats the last button clicked by the mouse.  How can I eliminate this hot key function?  Also is there a way query for all hot key assignments?

thanks,  Quin

(I originally posted this under Mach4 by mistake)

I want to continuously display in a UserDRO, the product of the scale factor times the value of OEMDRO 180.

Can't seem to find a way.

Hi Gerry,

Turning off the "auto screen enlarge" solved the problem.

Thanks,

General Mach Discussion / Screen Resolution problem
« on: April 02, 2014, 09:32:41 PM »
Just converted from V1.84 to V3.043.057.

I build a screen and save it as 1280 x 1024.  When I open Mach3 with a 1024 x 768 resolution, I don't get the full screen. when I increase the resolution, it only fills 75% of the screen and displays my hidden buttons and DRO's.

I am using windows XP.

Suggestions?

Thanks Hood,

I believe I was causing the problem by running driver test while Mach was active.  OK now.  Any particular reason why you recommended 3.043.057 rather than .066?

Tlhanks Hood,

Since my last post, I ran the machine for 3 hrs with no problems and I did not run the driver test.

I then installed V 3.04 and everything worked ok on the second trial.

Attached is the profile that I use.  See if you can see any flaws.

I am wondering why the wide swings with the driver test ranging from 31.5k to 235 cycles.

Thanks,  Quin

More info from additional testing:

Deleted driver from computer and reinstalled V1.84
System runs well.
Run driver test, 25.5k
Test times out and inputs can not be read, no outputs.

Reinstalled V1.84
Runs well for few minutes, then computer locks up

Reboot computer
start mach3, run part program for 7min
run driver test while part program is running, 31.1k
driver test times out and everthing stops, no outputs possible

Replaced copy of Mach3 in C drive,  no outputs
ran driver test, only 235 cycles

Reinstalled v1.84
reboot computer
run part program for 50 min, AOK
run driver test, 25.5K
test times out after 2 min, no outputs

exit Mach3 and reload, everything AOK

Repeated this test on a different computer, different machine, same Profile
problem persists.

What is going on?

General Mach Discussion / Input problem

Mach3 appears to not be reading inputs from the BOB.  With the BOB powered down, I load Mach3. The screen recognizes that LS inputs are active for about 1 sec and shows them inactive (on the diagnostic screen).  I turn on the BOB and test limits and get no reaction on diagnostic screen.  Also I get no outputs.  Any thoughts?
