VB and the development of wizards / Digitize Light
« on: March 18, 2014, 10:54:59 AM »
How hard is it to move the digitize led light from the diagnostic page to the program run page to make sure my probe is functioning properly. I'm running mach 3 version  R3.043.066 ?

                      Thanks

I also should have stated that I cut this on a axis indexer

I make my programs up in cambam then process through cncwrapper but when I  run it through mach 3 all I see is a single line moving back and forth in y movement shouldn't I see the round object in the window if so what do the settings have to be in mach 3 in order to see the view I want? Thanks Gary

This is the setup I have a 200step motor 1/8 turn I have a 40 tooth pulley and a ten tooth pulley I have the stepper driver set to 1/16 step if that matters. I tried to do the math but I must be doing something wrong I came up with 177.7777 If I plug that number in to
mach 3 and tell the machine to go g0 a360 the chuck will make several revolutions what am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help Gary

General Mach Discussion / 4th axis
« on: January 07, 2013, 12:59:17 PM »
Hi

I built a 4th axis for my cnc router I used two pulleys and a belt 4:1 ratio. My question is what would the difference be If I connected the stepper motor directly to the headstock shaft running the chuck.
