General Mach Discussion / Mach 3 on Windows 10
« on: July 26, 2015, 07:27:16 PM »
So...Windows 10 is about to be released and I would like to know if Mach 3 will run on it. I want to know if I have to stay with Windows 7 to run Mach 3 or will there will be Windows 10 support. I don't really want to upgrade to Mach 4 yet (not ready for it and I don't think it is ready for me).

Thanks for the input. I have .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0 installed.   :(

I just downloaded version 2.0 and am trying to get a GigaWire joypad (it shows up as a generic joystick in control panel/game controller)  to work.  When I launch JoyPadSetup.exe I don't get any buttons on the bottom of the window -- no 'Device Button Map, 'View in Notepad', 'About', 'Save', or 'Exit' button. Do I have a different setup program or something? I am running it on a Dell Vostro laptop with Windows XP Pro SP3. I'm not having much luck getting this setup and working consistently. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,

Zeke

General Mach Discussion / "Application has stopped working"
« on: November 27, 2011, 09:37:17 AM »
I am new to Mach. Just got it installed and set up on my shop computer. Every
thing appears to be working well...motors turn...actually cut something out
Friday. I have a problem - more of an irritation - when I exit Mach. I get an
error message that says "Application has stopped working". It gives me an option
to 1)'Look online for a solution and shut down the program." or 2)"Shut down the
program". I am running this on Windows 7 Ultimate(32bit)-sort of new to W7 also.
Is this a W7 quirk or some sort of bug?
