10 rev / inch of screw x 8 usteps x 200 steps / motor rev= 16000 steps per unit ( inch).
Assume your gibbs etc are all adjusted just so.
Lower the velocity to 50 and accel to 10 and work your way up until they skip, then back off that by say 30%.
If you can, get a motor curve and compare torque to speed for different wiring.

Hi, thank you for getting back to me.
I think that K2 uses 1/10 micro-stepping and that's why they have those settings, however on my setup I am not looking for turbo speed, but the best settings my mill can run at are steps per 16000, velocity 25, accel 5, which is slower than a home built router I had made years ago. Don't get me wrong it's working just fine as-is, but slow, and the material I am cutting is PVC Plastic sheets 1/8" thick at most.
