NC Pod / Re: New POD user has some questions

The connectors that come on the board require a special tool and head that cost ~$180.00  (If anyone has other information, please jump in and correct me)

Tyco Electronics makes a crimp style connector that uses a standard crimping tool. (series CST-100-II) Newark, Allied, and Arrow carry these according to Tyco's website.

The part number for the 4 position connector is: 1375820-4

Run the update post chook on your old posts.  That will convert your old posts into version X format and create the machine and control definition files.

NC Pod / NC Pod Ports and Pins questions
« on: March 13, 2007, 03:28:15 AM »
I just got the pod in, and some Gecko 201s and was going through the setup process and I have run into a stumbling block.

I set up the pod and got it talking to the latest version of Mach.
I can turn on and off some of the inputs.

Before I attempted to hook up the Geckos, I wrote a simple program to move the X axis back and forth and them put my scope on the outputs for the step and direction.  All I get is  steady 5 VDC.

What should the Port and Pin configuration for the Motor outputs be set to?
