General Mach Discussion / powerfeed X&Y

when i tried to use power feed X&Y   a letter box comes up and says, if you name is not on this list you cannot use ! you must purchase license , and Jeff sandstorm  version r3.043022 is all i see with a bunch of other names flashing across screen. I have added latest version and purchased wizard license, do i have to purchase some thing else? I have used the write program successfully  and had no problem .

 thanks ron i have the newfangled wizards license and i want to put your last update in and now this drill wizard up date always wonder when i download to flash drive if it is thier sending it to one  send to removable disc  . am i rite on this not to pc literate just want to make sure also do the update first then the the drill wizard next

Hi Ron i down loaded wizards update and put them on a flash drive , will this help me with manual feed wizard not working on new fangled wizards . I also need to know what you recommend as far as deleting old file in wizards after upload , also want to upload new drill wizard  i am very very novice at cnc i am a hands on machinist for 30 plus years . I am kinda gun shy on doing anything but willing to try just need some guidance a have a NM145 mill thanks for your time bob b

thanks ron i appreciate that i am learning slow but sure! as far as downloading updates for newfangled wizardson forum, just use flash drive and dowload to a file i make or name . I am not to pc savy i put new fangled wizards license on flash drive, i guess i can use it for updates also any help on how todo would be appreciated thanks bob b

Hi i have been playing with machine and using new fanglewizards, did a pocket 3x6 the other day everything worked well , raised z axis and cut air first to make sure i had it rite. it ran fine ,  the next day i decided to cut some slots in piece so i went into newfangled solutions and , used keyway funtion posted code and went  to run again i left z axis up to make sure it  was going to be ok. I ran and it went through motions , the only thing that did not seem rite was spindle did not turn on and when i looked at the code thier was no start spindle code in begining ! I then just wen to rpm window and they wern't posted either . i then posted the spindle speed went back tried again still had to start spindle with f5 spindle start window is this normal or did i miss something

hope i did not scare you away what is the easiest way to learn this stuff i would really like to use this machine i have had some luck with wizards  not sure on how to write g code to do certian things

sorry to be a pain guys i guess an old hands on machinist should have just stayed that and bought a bridgeport because this is way over my head thought i could learn it

ok here is another dilema i got lic. for new fangled wizards it said to copy and paste into directory what do they mean by directory be more specific

well my nm145 suppost to have an 8 poll motor on it and when i punch spindle speeds in it is not even close to what i punch in is thier a way to set those parameters on ports and pins
