With any values in the Input Signal the RESET will not clear and gives me a ghost "limit switch triggered" in the #5 position. when the "Fix this for me" screen appears i select it and #5 will not clear. I can set up a new profile and not insert any Input Signals to see if i can get movement by jogging. Ill do that after work today and let you know what happens.

hello - not new per say - have been working on same DIY CNC since about 2007 - have retired and have a lot more time to work on the project -- gave up on losing steps on Z axis (that was CNC1.0) back in 2007 - moved to Florida 2 years ago - had CNC2.0 and did not have all the info to set it up, so that one went by the way side -I am now working on CNC3.0 - I am determined to make this one work OR I will give up as age is overtaking me -- not sure where to post this so i will try to explain my problem -- I have a Dell running  XP (no outside influnces as not connected to internet) - I put in all the data given to me by the manufacturer in MACH3 Config, ports and pins, Motor outputs & Output signals push apply and go to Diagnostics -- every thing seems to be fine ---  Then the problem -- when i enter the limit switches (one or all) and E-stop in the Input Signals and Apply -- Port 1 Pins current State gives me not 4 but 5 green lights --- from left to right on the upper row 1,2,3,blank 4 E-stop, 5 unknown, 6 Z, 7 Y and 8 X --- with the CNC hooked up I can get 4,6,7,8 to go out but i don't know where to look to extinguish 5 ---- any further questions please ask
