I was looking for that earlier on the screen I'm using and it wasn't there, I didn't think of trying one of the other profiles.. I will get back down there early tomorrow and mess with that for awhile.. Thanks

Yes, they have the same gear reductiuon same amount of teeth and Ron gave them the same values on his instruction sheet. There has to be something I missed somewhere but not sure.

Finally back at my 4 X 8 precision Plasma build, been off of it due to heavy work load.

If I try to cut a 5" X 5" square the  Y is 5" but the X is 4 inches. I have all the steps per min the same on the X, Y, and A axis so I can't figure out what is wrong. I verifid the G code as having 5" move ment on all 4 sides.

I'm attaching the XML code (I hope) Thanks Hood for getting me straight on the XML

Put your dxf files on a flash drive so you can view them in the puter with the cad program..

I'm sure it is just my luck with computerd items but had trouble with the down load..

unzipped file, double clicked on XML reader exe file and got this application error message

OS is Vista..

Come on Lou - nobody admits defeat this quickly.

Get your 'steps per' correct then everything else will fall into place (not sure about your THC though).

LOL,,, I know, but I have been working on and off for the last 6 months, it gets a little frustrating when ya spend many a weekend on a project and don't get any where..LOL

Haven't gotten back to this yet, worked on the DTHC card for my HYper1250.. I have checked and redid the wireing on that card 5 times, did all the test, rewiered, re splices and scratched my head till it is raw all to no avail..

Was told by Tom C that if the card passes all the tests then it is in the wireing...... So I checked it 3 more times and no tourch on???

Should have bought a turn key unit
