Thakns for aswering

It's good to learn I can use Win7 32, then I can have same user interface on all my computers.

The chinees card is a PCI card whith 15 pin.  I have several CDs with software (UcancamV8 and something else) and probably drivers for the card. When I look at files on the CDs there is a mixture of englis and chinees letters, and I'm somehow uncomfotable with it.  I can commumicate whith the seller on email, but both being non englis speaking misunderstanding occur.  Thats why I bought BobCAD and Mach3.  Maby I can skip this controller card and just use the paralell port on the computer?
If you would like to see the machine it's on salecnc.com and the modell is XJ1224.  They sell also controller cards, probably the same as I have.

Thanks again,
Gudmund

Hi,
I'm new to CNC. I just bought a 3 axis milling machine (1200x2400x200mm) from China.  I am building a computer for it and wonder which OS to use.  This is for personal use and the computer will be connectet to the home network (Gb lan), where all the connedtet PSs run Win7ultimate64.

Can I use Win7ultimatex86 whitout problems, or should I go for good old xp?

The machine was delivered with controller card and software package, but I havent opened it, I'm going to use Mach3 & BobCAD.
Should I use the paralell port on the PC or the chinees controller card?

I would be nice if someone bothered to safe me a lot time :)
