Check to be certain that the limits and homes are mapped to the same input. For example, if X limit is mapped to Port 11, Input 1, then the X Home must also be mapped to Port 11, Input 1. I made the mistake of using a jumper to share the physical signal for X limits and X home instead of sharing the Port and had the same problem.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Following Error
« on: July 19, 2019, 08:05:41 AM »
I had following errors and, after watching the real-time numbers change in the HiCON test page, I changed the gain on the command and encoder so that they would match. The encoder was changed to have a gain of -1 as the encoder responded opposite of the command signal. I also changed the gain of the command to 2. Finally, I had to lower the acceleration and velocity to allow the motors to run without any 'slippage'.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Following errors with HiCON Integra
« on: July 18, 2019, 03:19:24 PM »
I changed the gain for the encoders on my system from 1 to -1 and the gain on the control input from 1 to 2 because the pattern of the count numbers indicated that it was necessary. I also had to reduce the acceleration a bit. The following errors in the HiCON Config panel motors test section have disappeared.

General Mach Discussion / Following errors with HiCON Integra
« on: July 18, 2019, 09:46:47 AM »
I continuously get a 'following error' message that disables the axis motor. This occurs an all 3 axes. I am using the Maxine AC servo drive with built-in encoders  with the HiCON Integra and the 7737 board.
Anyone have a fix for this issue?

Mach4 General Discussion / Continuous jogging won't stop
« on: July 18, 2019, 09:36:32 AM »
Using Mach 4 and I am having an issue while jogging. Sometimes it works as expected and other times the jog just continues on its own. Has anyone found a solution to this?
Using the HiCON Integra with the 7737 board.
