General Mach Discussion / Re: Can't FIx Machine Coordinate
« on: December 09, 2021, 06:05:39 PM »
Thanks for the reply. Yeah machine was already Homed on all axises with my Home switches when doing that. In the end my issue is resolved, after screwing around with Mach3 and restarting it several times over for half an hour I ended up shutting down the machine and restarting it along with Mach3 and then it wasn’t a problem to fix it.

General Mach Discussion / Can't FIx Machine Coordinate
« on: December 09, 2021, 02:40:28 AM »
Hey there, bit of a weird issue. My X axis machine coordinates is set at "+222.0" after I've Ref'd Home on all axises. That's a big issue seeing as I've got a 600mm X-axis which now stops at 378mm instead of 600 with the Soft Limits. (600-222 = 378) That cuts down on a big part of my table.

I've watched the video above to Zero machine coordinates but this doesn't work for me. Once I've clicked "Reset Interp" and Zero and then "To DRO" Nothing gets sent to the DRO and machine coord still stay at +222

Any ides on how to fix that??

General Mach Discussion / Re: Problem with Reinstall

The ports and pins weren't associated with anything under my custom profile but are adjusted with the regular Mach3 profile. Is there some file I can import in my custom profile to set it all as it was before or do I need to configure everything again from scratch?

General Mach Discussion / Problem with Reinstall

I backed up my Mach 3 CNC_Router files (custom settings) and reinstalled Mach 3 on my computer after a fresh Windows iXP install on my computer, same computer, same operating system as before.

I can't get my custom router files to work properly. If I open up the generic Mach 3 screen I can get my motors to run without any problems. If I load my CNC_Router files from the Mach 3 Loader, I can load up gcode and click on "run" and the screen does its thing like if the CNC was operating but my motors aren't moving, using the arrows to move the motors doesn't work either.

Its the first time I try to reinstall Mach 3 so not sure whats going on exactly. Attached is a screen shot of my router. I'd love to get this working if anyone has any ideas please help, I really don't want to have to go through setting up the software and a table again from scratch.

Hi,

I'm setting up Mach for the first time after having finished building my table.

X,Y = 650mm, 1300mm

When I move all my axis to o position, my machine thinks it's at +947, +230 How do I change the machine coordinates?

I watched the videos and read he book, can't find the answer. The tutorial videos explains how to do ti with limit switches. I don't have any on my machine. Can I zero them anyway? I don't want the machine to stop working in the middle of a project because it thinks its reached the end of the table when it didn't
