General Mach Discussion / reversing coordinate system
« on: January 27, 2010, 03:24:18 PM »
hello all. i have been a machinist since i could stand on a milk crate and run a lathe or mill. i understand the coordinate system perfectly. i just finished a router build and having a little trouble.my y axis and x axis are opposite. i jog either axis and after doing a ref all home, the y, goes negative on the DRO. as does the x axis. my home switches are in the "0" positions. z at max height, the x on the bottom left(a and x axis are slaved, gantry style router), and the y axis bottom. do i need to switch the wires or is there a general config setting i am missing.

thanks all!
