General Mach Discussion / Re: No pulse line box
« on: January 08, 2010, 10:09:51 AM »
I changed computers and now have a good pulse rate and line with very little spikes, but the motors still do not run.  I have used the Gecko troubleshooting diagram and have come down to the "check controller timing G203V step input specs: min step '0' time = 0.5 uS min step '1' time =3 uS".  Could someone explan this and how do you correct ifd it is not right.  Thanks, Jimmy

The motors do not run.  I am just starting to get the Mach running.  I did the special driver and now have no pulse.  Thanks, Jimmy

What do you have your kernel set to? I have never seen the line being outwith the box so dont really know what to advise.
Have you tried to see if your motors are working correctly the way it is?
Hood

I have the kernal set to 25.  The motors do not run.  This is a new build and are just starting to try and get the motors to run.  Thanks, Jimmy

Thanks for the quick reply.  I took another look and there is a line,  it is off the scale.  I can see some spike coming down from the top.  How can I get the line in the box.  Thanks, Jimmy

When running driver test it says excellent, but there in no line in the box.  the pulse per second is 12305.  Sorry if this has been asked before but I could't find it.  Thanks Jimmy.
