Ger, Ray,
thanks for the reply, at least I know that I am not the only one with this issue.............
Ray I am using the .062 version of mach now.

I will be more conscious of my feed speeds when generating the cut files.

thank you,
Charlie

Hi,
I am having the same issue as well was wondering if a resolution has been found for this?
I have reloaded mach, the smoothstepper plugin, changed every setting in mach at least 3 times
nothing makes a difference

thank you,
Chopper

Ger,
just got back from the shop I changed the 6 to a negative 6,
and that was all it took, I will be ordering a screen set from you shortly,
I want to make sure I know how to use this set up before I change any thing
else. wow all that messing around and all it was was a - sign,
this was quite humbling for sure.

thank you,
Chopper

Hi,
I have been running mach for awhile now and I decide that I would like to run Ger21's 2010 screen set,
so I installed my limit switches again ( quit using them a few years back) I tried to do a soft limit activation
and I get an error machine out of limits for soft limit activation,
I have viewed the limit switch video, i have looked here and did what hood suggested,
I deactivated the limit switches and homed the machine, then reactivated the limit switches and still did not work,
I downloaded the xlm file he posted and I tried that, it did not work so I reloaded mach, still did not work.
I have the homing / limit switches working it homes ok,
the machine is setup to home to the negative except for the z,
the z max is set to 0 the min is set to 6 inches,
the Y max is 50 inches min 0
the X max is 98 inches min 0
soft limits are set to 1 inch
when I home the machine, I move the gantry etc to be within the limits and I still get this error,
I had this same issue last time I used the limit switches, and I could not figure it out then either,
I must be overlooking some thing in my settings?
i tried to solve this with out asking but I could not find the answer. once I get this working I would like to
install ger21's 2010 screen set I would also like to ad that I am running a warp 9 ess smooth stepper windows 7 and version 3.043.062 of mach
thank you,
