General Mach Discussion / Re: Reversing axis coordinates
« on: September 09, 2009, 12:48:45 PM »
I've gone to Encoder/MPG in ports and pins. But all the a and b values in there are zero, so I can't really switch them. What am I missing?

General Mach Discussion / Reversing axis coordinates
« on: September 09, 2009, 10:57:57 AM »
I have retrofitted a Bridgeprt mill with Mach3 and Mitsubishi servos. My controller has a manual pulse generator, and I would like the handwheels on the mill to turn the same direction that it does. But when I get the wheel on the Y axis to turn clockwise when the MPG is turned clockwise, it reads as positive movement. I want it to read as negative movement. I can get it to move in the right directions, but then the handwheel is reversed from the MPG. Basicly, I think I want to reverse my axis without reversing my motors. Does that make sense and can anyone help me out?

General Mach Discussion / referencing home
« on: August 21, 2009, 12:31:08 PM »
I just set up my K2 plasma table with CandCNC motors and drives. And I have a basic question about Mach. When you reference an axis to home, is the DRO supposed to zero itself? Or set to whatever offset is entered in config? When I reference my axis nothing changes on the DRO. and I have checked the auto Zero box in Config.   Thanks
