Hi,

This post processor would be fine if you have problems solving the inverted curves with G2 and G3 or solving the code of the thread with G32.
Tested with cnc Lathe MoriSeiki, MastrerCamX4, mach3 turn R3.042.040, can also be used for other version of Mastercam and Mach3 turn.

Easy to install, ideal for inclined bench cnc lathes with turret at the back of the piece.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Rounding the corners

Yes g0 is 2800mm/min, the corners begin a be seen from 500mm/min, a 2800 the excess of radius is of 1 a 2mm.
When the tool is small and i do letter little at velocity of 1500 mm/min, this change the type of letter.
It seem i only have option of slow velocity.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach3 crashes using LPT but not USB

Check if you lose position, see the axis of the motor and check the angle be correct, make a mark.
If you lose position then is entering noise for the cable paralell, the mach3 then receive alarm of servo for crashing, check his shielding

Because change a parallel port, Which problem technical you have?

General Mach Discussion / Rounding the corners
« on: July 05, 2016, 08:20:10 AM »
Hi,
I have a problema persistent, when i make a square o rectangle a high speed i get radius greater at radius of the tool, if i increases the velocity then the raius is greater still.

My aceleration is 200mm/s2
Velocity is 2800mm/min
With Constant velocity.

Only know two solutions, put a exact stop, but no serve for work of molds, and increase the aceleration but my servodrive work good with 200, if increase a 400mm/s2 shock vibration begin a occur. Some other configuration can i make for decrement the rounding in the corners?

General Mach Discussion / Re: A axis cancel
« on: August 14, 2015, 02:24:10 PM »
Thansk BR549, this OEM LED is 89 and serve for my macro.

I command brake or No brake of the axis A with macros M40 and M41, they send a signal to the PLC to stop the table hydraulically and must cancel axis movement by software, so if A axis is Jog, mach not send pulses and the driver is not overloaded.

General Mach Discussion / A axis cancel
« on: August 04, 2015, 02:17:36 PM »
I am using the code 253 (Jog Axis Inhibit A toogle) to enable or disable the axis A.

It is possible to know if the axis is enabled or canceled? there will be some flag ?.

In a Reset or External Stop can happen over incoordination between Mach and my PLC, for one can be enabled A  axis and for the other canceled.

SmoothStepper USB / USB_SS and digital I/O
« on: June 25, 2015, 02:27:58 PM »
Hi,

I have problems with the Smooth Stepper. Pulses and direction work very well, is soft all the time, but I have problems with other signals.

The PWM to 5Hz not work well, does not send pulses.
The spindle speed index of not read correctly the inductive sensor, this has a groove per revolution.  If this rotates at 1000rpm, sometimes it appears 1000 and any other value as 15000
I have to send the speed command through the macro M3 which sent a number of pulses which is the speed between 50, that is, if i want to send 1000rpm then sending N = 1000/50 = 20 pulses, the PLC reconstructs speed. With the parallel port was 20ms between pulses, however with the SS I have to give 100ms between pulses to leave full.
In conclusion discrete inputs and outputs with the SS are slow and imprecise.

Some general configuration will be missing me?

Hi, it can be a problem in the Index, it may be entering your signal noise index, if you use an inductive sensor, check that the distance from the sensor to the disk is correct.

In configuration check, Use Spindle feedback in Sync. Mode and Spindle Speed Averaging is actives.

Hi, My A axis work well, with insulated cables, i use the macro M40 for brake the A axis,

with ActivateSignal(Output5) brake mecanical A axis
with DeactivateSignal(Output5 ) the A axis is free.

when the A axis is brake, the operator can make the mistake of moving the axis with the keyboard, wheel or give movement commands. To avoid this i would see if there is any way to cancel the A axis for software without entering a Port and Pins every time i brake the axis A.
