actually, i will use 2 switch for up switch and down switch, going to use input pin other than home or probe pin, (oem trig is preferred). but do not know how to send the axis to move.

I am working on Plasma cutting, i have 2 switch on top and bottom on my Z axis, how to jog the Z axis down or up and stop till Switch Hit?

For jog up, i can use "dobutton(24)" or ref Z Axis, but for jog down? i have no idea.

can we use the Contec PIO to drive the motor? step and direction? not the parallel port from my pc. want to use it for many of my machine.

Servo is Fuji Faldic 750Watt, input is optoisolated, 40mA max needed.

Thanks Peter, it's work well, now i am trying converting the signal to 24 volt for input to servo which speed is enough up to 200Khz (safety factor 4x)

i am no trying to drvie the Fuji Faldic W AC servo, input is 24 volt (built in optoisolation on servo driver), parallel port is 5 volt TTL
How to convert the 5 volt TTL to 24 Volt for high speed pulse input (100KHz)
can i just use ULN2803?
Any sugestion?

How to converting Step and direction signal to CW/CCW signal. My drive input is CW/CCW signal and mach3 output is Step/Dir.
Is there any CMOS/TTL ic converting step/dir to CW/CCW?

i can do with uController but i'm looking for simple IC in CMOS or TTL level

Please Help

Hi..,
My name is Ardona, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. have been retrofiting 1 lathe, 2 mill, and build 2  router and 1 cnc oxy cutting. Router and ocy cut build with aluminium extrusion, BOB is DIY with buffer and opto isolator, working with stepper so far, and waiting runing with dc servo and ac servo.
