Art,  Sorry I can't describe a pattern here.  First attempt from a cold start using my file I got the GSIM screen with the message [file rejected, X or Y extent is zero].  See attached 0201a.  I then loaded road runner and all I got was the error message  Gsim fired with no screen.  After closing and restarting Mach now I don't see the GSim screen  same error message GSim fired See attached 0201b.  I have tried road runner and two other files after closing and restarting Mach.  I still don't get the GSIM screen.

Art, I am almost there (05 version)!  I now see the GSim screen when I start the app however it is telling me no file loaded.  I have a .nc file loaded in Mach4 which will run.  I can't figure out how to load the file into GSim or why it isn't auto loading.  Any suggestions?

Using the new version I get GSIM INiTS after clicking Gsim.  I pulled up the history and took a screen shot (attached).  Do I have a license problem.  I am running Mach4 on a Windows 7 computer with a PMDX controller.

I must have done something wrong.  I down loaded the plugin, enabled in plugin selector, loaded .nc program, latest update of Mach4.  When I select GMsim from the diagnostics tab nothing happens.  I checked and all the listed files are in my plugin folder.  Do you have a suggestion?

Hi,
I am having Darwin installation problems. I downloaded Darwin 2014-1-14 last night (have been running Mach4 without a driver) and attempted to install it.  I am running Windows 7, SP1, 64 Bit.  Darwin Test would not install, reported “an error has occurred, admin rights?, contact support.  I am running as Admin, the only user.  I copied files as the instructions suggested and turned the plug-in on.  Now when Mach 4 loads I get the Darwin error message and when I attempt to configure the plug-in the screen is red.  Can you suggest what I should do next?

I can’t tune Gecko G320X drives to operate mystery motors from an early PlasmaCam CNC.  Gecko service has suggested they may be too low an inductance. There is a you-tube video where someone is controlling Go-Torch motors (same as current production PlasmaCam. My motors can be commanded if I set gain to minimum but there is no stable point where they will sit idle.  It bothers me that the motors don’t have replaceable brushes.

Has anyone figured out how to operate these motors using Mach? What are you using for drivers? Yes I have the encoder bypass capacitor installed.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Set estop to active low green.  Still no response to MDI. command.  No cable connected to computer.  When .nc program is loaded I can click on start and green border appears around button.  Goes away if I click stop.  No change in X,Y,Z values.  I noticed CV mode is bordered with green, what does that mean?

Here it is.  I would consider reinstalling Mach if this wasn't happening on two different computers.
