Hello All,

I.am having this problem on my Workshop PC.
On my "Office" PC, it runs OK.
I.o.w. I made the G-code program on my Laptop in the house, all working perfect. :D :D
Than, put it om the stick and take it to the workshop, and than there is this problem.  :o ???
On both of the PC's the same MACH3.
There must be some differens in the configuration, but I have not a clue.
My drawing was made in Autocad R-14, and in than I discovert very small gaps between some
of the curves, and filled them in with lines.
Who can give me a "Clue"?

Ron,

I'm very sorry, bud the same curiosity still exists.
I downloaded the latest version two times to be sure, bud the value for material and X Center are somehow linked together.
The Material number is copied to the Dro for X Center.
When I make X Center 0 (zero) then The Material number turns to 0.
Somehow 1 in X Center is dominant, when I make no material choice, the number is 0 even then the value for
X Center is 1

Hello Ron,

The file Newfangled.set.def is a archive file, bud, I discovered that the value You select for 'Material' appears in the Dro for X Center and the other way around.
I. most of the time  use Aluminium, i.c. Nr. 1.
If I select Brass, (5) the value for X Center will be 5
Something is wrong in this Wizard.
This Wizard is the only one I discovered, with this problem.

Hello,

I have a problem with the Newfangled solutions.
When starting the wizard "Circular hole pattern" drilling, the X Center DRO read's 1.000 mm
When I make X Center is 0 (zero) and Y Center is 0 (zero), save the settings an run
the program, all works well.
When I run the same program another time, the X Center moves to 1.00 mm.
This problem is very inconvenient for me.

Hello Art,

In my case, the Z-axis was out of position during the "walk away" of the X-axis.
At this moment , I can't tryout anything, my PC is out of order, but I remember that Z-axis was out for 1 cut,
and than looked to be back in the right position.
I didn't gave it any attention than, because I taught that it was the result of the Z-axis problem.

Hello Rich,

As i understand, the trouble is caused by the compensating for unduly changing of the spindle speed?
If so, when I can forcomm slowing down of spindlespeed then it will be OK?

Hello TrevorH and the others,

Very happy with your video, this is exactly my problem.
My cutting is as close as possible to the chuck, so this not the problem.
I did not take any compensating action for backless, bud make the clearance to be certain thad
the "working moves"are allways in the same direction.
My stepper torck is about double the value.
