I read the minimium PC requirements and similar threads relating to Mach 3, but I am building up a specific computer for use with the software / router and plasma, so I might as well make the most of the situation and get it right first time.
Are there any specific recommendations for the Mach 3....any foible's that I'm liable to run into.
In other words any MB's, graphic cards, etc, etc that it doesn't like or runs better on!

Any input would be appreciated.

G'Day,

My name is Peter and I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
I'm just about finished my Master's Thesis after many years and I need a new project to fill up all those free hours  , so I've decided to build a combo cnc router and plasma machine.

I've come up with a concept design for my machine, (I'm an Industrial designer by profession) and after reading heaps of Forums and websites etc I have pretty much decided on my electronics, drives etc and software (Mach 3 of course  )

It's a steep learning curve but I'm enjoying all of it so far.
I'm looking forward to really getting the most out of the Mach 3 software ..... Seems like a great piece of kit!
