General Mach Discussion / M5 not working
« on: November 21, 2016, 03:06:30 PM »
I'm sure there is an easy answer for this.  We had to replace our PC a week ago.  We reloaded everything and for the most part, everything works.
When using mach3turn however, we can't get m5 to start the spindle.  When we click on the spindle button, everything works as it should, it's just M5 won't start it.

Any ideas?????

General Mach Discussion / What is wrong with this picture????
« on: July 24, 2009, 02:28:55 PM »
OK Team,

U thought I was trying to do something fairly simple, but I guess not.  I'M using BobCad to produce GCode for a fairly simple toolpath.  The issue is that I'm using their rotary conversion to convert Y axis to A Axis, as I'm tring to run this toolpath on a cylinder.  When I load the code in Mach 3, I don't get any errors, but the toolpath looks crazy, and it doesn't run correctly.

What gives??????

VB and the development of wizards / Re: Repetitive Wizzard
« on: July 21, 2009, 11:43:43 AM »
OK, I checked out the nesting wizard and I have a question.  The Wizard makes you place a M99 at the end of the code, but then if you try and load it, you get an error that a return statement was encountered without a sub... looping.

Any thoughts on how to get around this?"

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the info, That wizard is similar to what I want, but not exactly.  Perhaps I can modify that one.

Thanks

VB and the development of wizards / Repetitive Wizzard
« on: July 18, 2009, 02:57:50 PM »
Hi All,

I'd like to create a wizard to cut multiple parts from a tap file that only contains code for cutting one part.
I'd like the Wizard to ask how many parts across and how many parts high. It would also ask for part width and height.  It would then create a new tap file that would contain all start up messages, plus the looping plus the gcode from the selected file, then the stop and clean up code.

I would like to be able to use a gcode file that is capable of cutting a single part if possible, meaning that I'd like the wizard to strip off the begin and end of the program.  I would have no problem creating the actual cutting code as a subroutine (M98, M99)

Has anyone out there done something like this before?  Is it possible?

Mach3 under Vista / Reinstall of Mach3 stopping axis
« on: October 04, 2008, 01:25:23 PM »
After upgrading my Mach 3 installation to the latest version (Under vista)  my system stopped moving.  When I go to the diagnostics screen,  the pulse frequency says "Simulate"

Any ideas?  I did re run the registry hack

Thanks in advance!
