That was the problem.  It is running a test program now.  I'll let you know when it finishes.

Many thanks

No I check the pin step ups and they are correct.  It does have an estop button but It is far enough away not to cause a problem.  It is the power supply that Bob Campbell makes.  Thanks though

General Mach Discussion / external estop problem
« on: January 31, 2009, 11:21:26 AM »
I just installed the latest Mach version on my computer and have a constant estop error on the zed axis only.  I have disabled the limits and everytime I hit a G1.  I receive an estop.  Talked with Bob Campbell and he suggested I throw out here for some help.

General Mach Discussion / newbie question

I have finally figured out the three axis and every time I try to flip the fourth it bomgs.  I have a sherline 3700 on the fourth axis on a minitech 2 machine.  I finally figured out how to configure the other three axises(sP), but when I sent a jog or flip to the fourth axis I have an external stop.  I have tried setting the limits to 360 plus and minus and it still bombs. Also, under the diagnostics I have tried moving the a axis and have an external stop everytime I pass 10 degrees.   I have searched the tutorials and videos and can figure this one out.  What can I try next.
