on the printer set up window of mach the Port adress is 0x378. When I go to port properties  there is no resources tab. I did see on the general tab Location 513{PCI EPP/ECP Parallel port 1}. Do I need to change the 378 to 513?

I have a question, i watched the tutorial video on setting up the inputs. I enabled X++ and X-- and assigned pin #'s 10 and 11 as in the tutorial, I have them set to active low. Then when I go to the diagnostics screen, the M1--Limit LED is on, when I reset the led stays on. According to the video, setting to active low was supposed to fix or turn off the led. When I go to settings the Override Limits LED is flashing red. I can't change that one by clicking on it, or turn off the yellow LED limit switch indicator. What should I do? The video didn't get into that.

Hey Brett, thanks I got it, I went to view after changing what you said to change and selected 1024.set and that fixed it.

I got to the general config screen and clicked on auto screen enlarge, but the far right of the screen is not visible. I see the OK button on my laptop but I can't get to the OK button on my new computer, that part of the screen is cutt off.

General Mach Discussion / issue with mach 3 screen

I just installed mach 3 on my new computer and I am having a small problem with the screen. The bottom of the screen is cutt off right in the center of the stop button. It seems to be okay with lazy cam and the plasma screen but has the issue with Mach 3 loader, mach 3 mill and mach 3 turn. is there a way to make the mach 3 screen fit my monitor display? I tried view on the toolbar but didn't see anything there that would fix it.

I am building a dyi cnc and I am new to this. I am looking to use my machine for making signs, wood carving, and solid body elec. guitars. I only have a small CAD program at the time called designcad 3D. I may be getting Autocad  soon.
Artsoft suggests getting a full size CAM program besides Lazy Cam. Mastercam cost more than I want to spend. I looked at vcarve and it said it was easy to operate and it looke like it was a good program, I think it was around 500 bucks(that is within my budget).
Is that a good choice for what I am doing or is their other software that I should look at for the aplictions I will be my cnc for?

Suggetions please?
thanks
