Problem solved by Chip Many thanks
Problem was video display setting which was too high. Setting it to none solved the loading problem. Now all I have to do is learn to use it
Thanks again Chip

Tried everything,  (from mach directory, from windows explorer), same result, seems to load but only indication is in the windows task manager list of working apps.
My computers are both under XP home 1.8Ghz and 2Ghz 224Mo of ram. completely clean

Help
I have tried completely uninstalling Mach including the drivers, new download and installation, nothing seems to work. Lc still is running in the background. Are there any hidden configurations that I could not find? Perhaps my machine must be hooked up to the computer. This one is not.

Another question, My machine is hooked up to another computer which is using mach version 1.84.002, with it I can load DXF, JPEG BTM as well as Gcode. The 190.70 only permits loading Gcode and lazy cam (which doesn't work). Is this normal?

I am a new user and am slowly trying to understand this software. I have installed LC, I believe in the right places, It is visible in the file column but it does not load. early this morning I was obliged to do a force shutdown on my computer, and found over a dozen LC running or open.. What am I doing wrong please.
