General Mach Discussion / Question
« on: December 12, 2011, 11:47:48 AM »
Hey guys,

is it normal that if I install Mach3 directly from the site it works correctly; when I transfer the installer using a USB memory the input of the computer to the drives does not work, and therefore the drives doesn't turn on.

Why is that?

General Mach Discussion / Question regarding mach3 function
« on: September 02, 2011, 11:15:24 AM »
Hi guys,

I was wondering if in one of the latest version of Mach3 lathe, or using a created program, is there a function that stops the machine with an error IN CASE the drives are not giving the correct pulses to the computer.

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Radius tool compensation
« on: May 06, 2011, 12:07:47 PM »
Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is the following options in Mach3:

Let's suppose I make a program using my CAD/CAM and use a tool radius 1.2mm.

In case that the radius of the tool changes from 1.2mm to 1.1mm, is there an option in MAch3 that allows me to change it instead of re-do the program again with different radius?

Thanks nad regards

Hey guys,

I was wondering where in mach3 Turn I can choose to put a feedrate I'm going to use in case the program doesn't refer to it.

Thanks!

General Mach Discussion / Re-start the program from a different line
« on: January 25, 2010, 01:10:39 PM »
Hey everyone,

I would like to know if it possible to re-start a program from a different line, not the 1st one.

I remember I tried to do it once but the axes moved strangely and hit the piece.

Anyone can explain me how to do it correctly if it is even possible?

Thanks!!

General Mach Discussion / Wizard qustion
« on: May 21, 2009, 10:01:22 AM »
Good day,

I'm writing because I would like to know if it is possible to create a wizard program that suits the work I have to do.

Basically I have to grind a roll shaped item. The only thing that would change are the depth of the mark grinded and the space between the marks.

It's a simple program and I would like to know if it is possible to create a wizard to do it, and if so how.

Thanks for your attention

General Mach Discussion / Axis Home question
« on: April 24, 2009, 09:42:10 AM »
Guys, I wanted to know if there is an option that doesn't allow you to start an automatic cycle if the light box of the home axis didn't turn green.

As you know the home axis light is red untill you do the home and then turn green.

In other words I'd like to know if yo can choose to block the automatic movement in case the lights( both of them) didn't turn green.

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / blocked manual movement
« on: April 22, 2009, 10:33:04 AM »
Guys,

in my machine the axis are moving automatically but if I try moving them manually using the arrows they are not working. Is there a function in mach3 settings that may block it?

Thanks
