i am using mach3 version 2.0. i have a file that i have been running for aprox 6 months. latley  sometimes the z will suddenly plunge aprox .375 too far. this has happened twice.
one other time when i homed the z it went up a little over 4in. [normal] hit the home switch & started back down, when it should have gone from 4 something to 3 something it went to 2.972 in the dro, but the z was actually at aprox 3.972 does anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
any help is very much appreciated. thanks greg

term 1 is ps grd. term 2 is ps hort [80 volt]
disable is not used.

General Mach Discussion / Spindle start problem
« on: June 26, 2007, 12:07:18 AM »
I am running the code attached and when when the Z axis moves to the negative, the spindle does not come on.  If it moves in the positive direction, then the spindle comes on. The mill is set up to have the Z-axis move in the negtive direction from 0.

Any help would be appreciated.
