my x and y axis will just stop working in the middle of programs or in the middle of jogging.  when this happens i have to shut down the whole system to get them working again.  sometimes when the x axis stops working i will wait a few minutes and it will come back on its own. also the dro for both axi read as though the axis is still moving. any ideas? i really need some help as i have tried everything i can think of.

ps. im still a noob at fixing problems with mach three.

General Mach Discussion / movement stops but dro says its still going
« on: December 14, 2007, 02:41:46 PM »
hi my omega saw is a 5 axis machine x,y,z,b,a.  a is a rotating table.  when i try to cut circles it will only make 4 full rotations before the table stops but, the dro keeps reading as though the table is moving.  anyone know how to fix this?  i need the table to continue infinitely.  the people who installed the motor says it should so i think that there is i limit or something in the software.

help please!!!
