Mach SDK plugin questions and answers. / Use visual basic variable as x and y position

Hello,
I receive my position data through an usb interface. The usb data is written in a visual basic variable.
Is it possible to use this variable in a plugin as the position in mach3?
Or is it better to choose for a macropump?
