Hello im looking to purchase a atc spindle and have lots question?

1. How is the Pressure Switch controlled with mach or the bob?
2. How is the solenoid valve controlled?
3. How does mach know the tool change is completed

I understand there are marcos for changing the tools, If there anyone that can share how they setup there hardware
and can explain question 1-3

was looking to make a pendant then i found this thread,
can some please let me know if this possible...

I like to make a pendant with pokey with a lcd and matrix key pad
like to make the keys programable to link with mach screen sets ie

I like to use hoss probing and corner finding fuction and also the pocketing routines
for find diameter of holes etc... and edge finding and z height setting

SmoothStepper USB / ss ran out data in middle of move

I keep getting this error at the frist few lines of movement in my g code all the time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
pc is just run mach3 and keygrabber, but im not using the key grabber or my wire joystick when this happens.
controller freq is 1k....

It a slower pc is this amy problem?

from what i readed i think pokeys is a cool addon for pendents,
How ever, im looking for some example pendents people have made up..im a newbie
need all the help i can get.....lol
love to add the lcd feature to know my step cyle jog step size is?
on the lcd and switching from jog modes.....

Also if anyone has seen legacywood working cnc's website http://legacywoodworking.com/Videos/ShopTime/ATC/ATC.cfm
they have a neet... smart tool.. is there a way to use pokeys
to instruct mach  use the smart tool s function ?

Like to create a wizard tool box functions, via  matrix key pad for offset and tool zeroing, slow jog rate...
not sure it this possible? with pokeys

i have my game pad and installed driver etc, got it workng now, when i reboot mach and pc....
(phiips brand game pad) it does not work untill i lauch the keygraber program why?
i saved the config with the default name, in the default location.. am i missing something

can someone post what the commant short cut keys are for jogging
need jog x=-,y=-,z=-  etc...

can you explain how to asign keys to game pad , im having issues
with key grabber with alt commands etc.... i tried with the l profiler thaat came with my philps game pad,
but it doesnt take alt commands.


i dont have a list of jog x+ x- , y+ y-, z+ z-, a+ a- what are these short cuts?

Mach3 under Vista / vista_Optimization.txt.

is there such a file for vista just installed it set up mach3 ran the driver test on new pc
got lots of spikes etc,
tell me plusing to fast
plusing to slow
then plusing to fast etc
with lots of spikes....

see the xp file? is there one for vista ran the drive for vista didnt help...

SmoothStepper USB / new setp with cnc4pc c23 bob

I m a newbie just configure my pc with mach3 with plugin and driver with smoothstepper software
as far as i can tell it went smooth.

I have one issue after reboot mach and loading it

I get a error in mach

Estop not assigned to smooth stepper input, its wire to port 1  10 and 5 v on bob just wiring diagram states

i have the smoothstepper providing 5 v to bob jumper

where do i need to configure this in the configuration in mach ?
