I refer to my topic in Vectric forum and need help in order to find out why my generated g-codes gives a different machining toolpath than it was shown in the v-carve softvare.

General Mach Discussion / I lost steps in Z-axis. What do I need to adjust?

In the middle of a job, the z-axis lost some steps and continued engraving 0.5mm deeper. Which kind of settings do I need to adjust in order to avoid that. Will it be best to reduce the speed or the acceleration of the stepper motor?

When i try to load a g-code with a half-sphere on winXP machines, the image comes out like this and the machining toolpath acts in the same way. It goes longer in -x direction than in the other directions. What may be wrong?

General Mach Discussion / Which files in Mach3 contain the configuration settings?

I have reinstalled  after a disc crash to a newer version of Mach3 and need to transport the files of config. settings from another Mach3 program which I have on another PC. So I need to know which of the files in the Mach library that contain these settings and registration code.

Can anybody here help me whit this issue?
