General Mach Discussion / Z Axis - moves past home switch and does not back off
« on: March 29, 2023, 04:21:38 AM »
Newbie question.. sorry!
I have fitted proximity switches to be used as Limit/homing all connected to Pin 10 of my CNC4YOU KK10 control board and wired in parallel as described in their documentation.
They work as limit switches but homing is not quite there yet. I have disabled the limit function for now, to concentrate on homing. When homed the Z axis moves towards the home switch which operates (i.e. red LED illuminates on the switch). However, the axis moves past the limit switch and does not stop and move off as expected.
I have searched the forum but not quite sure what to search for exactly....
Thanks for any help
