General Mach Discussion / XHc pendant set up
« on: March 17, 2023, 08:58:07 PM »
My old XHc wireless pendant had a built in macro selection menu option that allowed me to individually zero my work offsets for each axis from the pendant.  Unfortunately it gave out and I replaced it with a newer 6 axis version.  However, the drop down menu for the macro assignments for the macro buttons no longer has the ability to zero individual axis, only zero all.  Can I use the "custom" macro options in the setup menu to program the macro buttons on the pendant to zero individual axis'?  If so, how?

Thanks, Ed

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 not saving fixture settings
« on: March 16, 2023, 08:37:51 PM »
Mach3 is not saving axis positions when closing out.  It has worked fine for 6 or so years that I have been using this program.  I loaded a new profile and everything, so far anyway, has worked normal.  It is kind of important for this feature to work as many of my projects run over three or four work days.

New to the forum but not new to Mach3.  I recently set up a new control cabinet using a CNC4PC UC300ETH with a C94 motion controller.  Everything plays nice until I load a program.  Using a wireless pendant or the GUI pendant movements are as commanded; that is, if I ask for 0.001, I get 0.001.  Then when I load a program, the movements amplify about 100 to 1.  That is to say, if I ask for 0.001 I get 0.100 of movement.  Mach thinks the machine moved by the amount I asked and has no clue that the Z is in the rafters :-\.  The only way to restore proper movement with the pendants is to close Mach and reboot it.  All is well until I load a program and then LOOK OUT.  I tried resetting Mach by going back to a previous time but to no avail.  Anybody?
