Galil / Galil 41X4

I have a mill with Galil 41x4 running. I am totally a novice at this so forgive the stupidity and somtimes stupid question. There are 2 item I would luv to pursue.
1: What Mach3 wizards can I run thru the Galil setup.
2: Can  I use the Homann MP-03 with this setup theu the 9 pin setup.

Galil / Would like to Mill circle with Galil setup

I have mach 3 running thru Galil. Is there any way I can mill a circle going thru the Galil set up. Sorry-this is beyond me

I have a Servo Dynamics 1525-17 amplifier board in my machine and lost the controller. I need to know if this card can be changed from velocity mode to torque mode so that I can attempt to build another controller.

General Mach Discussion / Can get spindle to respond

I am running Smooth Stepper with a Campbell card. I can power up the system and the spindle relay will be out and the spindle has zero volts.Am using step and direct signal. I can power up the spindle. Relay will pick up and respond to S command. I can shut off spindle. Relay drops out but .5 volt remains on 0 to 10 volt analog signal and spindle sits and just turns. It will still respond to S command. If I power spindle back up. It will not respond to M5 or to S0. What have I done incorrectly.

Hi All
I am wiring in the VFD to Mach and I have a question that is perplexing me. I want to make sure I wire in an alarm from the VFD that will shutdown the system if one occurs. Any suggestions.

General Mach Discussion / Rotary Encoder to DRO

Ok, this is the dummy of the site wanting to know how to take a rotary encoder and use it so that as I rotate the encoder shaft, I get a Dro read out showing linear position of the table. Any help would be superior to any info I have now. Thanks

Video P*r*o*b*i*n*g / New way of doing work

At present, I port automobile cylinder heads by hand. After getting one port, I want to try to copy that port with "scanning" and convert to G code and port the remainder of ports with my 5 axis machine. Looking for any all ideas, please
