General Mach Discussion / Using safe z on stop button.... gcode does not resume at correct height

Hi everyone.
I'm using the safe z height in mach3 when I press the stop button.
When I click "cycle start" to resume running my gcode. It runs at the safe z height and not the depth of the tool path. Any suggestions on how to change this?
