General Mach Discussion / Search old version Mach3

Hello Everybody,

i search the old installation file of Mach3 in version 3.040
This was the version which i started with my cnc, and it
run well.

Since this 2 years, i update the Mach3 version, but i have
a problem that i never solved with the speed of the stepper
motors. With the old version of Mach3, the machine was able to run
with 8m/min, with the actuals versions, only 3m/min.

I try a lot of thinks, without succes,so to help to found, il like
to test with the initial system. But i have no more
the installation file.

On the ftp , the versions are newer.

I have 3.039 and 3.041 but not 3.040

Thank's if someone can send me this specific version
for testing and hoppefuly solve my problem.

CVI MachStdMill (MSM) / Compressed screens and buttons

Morning Dave,

nice this screen. I like to give chance new screens
And of course, more than if that will be the new standard.

So i have already a first problem, in fact two remarks :

- button need to be presse twice (not double click) and the
bitmap is no display (button is black).

- i use for first tests a netbook (with different resolution
from 1024*600 to 1024*768compress) and i see only
the bottom screen change button if i hide the taskbar.

Euh forget this point, in the second start of mach3,
the selection bar appear

I put a screenshot.

Edit : shame on me, i read your release notes and you make mention
of the problem with black button, but i have always the problem,
not only with dialog box opened.

LazyCam (Beta) / Need help for circle milling

Hello All,

i have problem with circle milling ! I am totaly newbee in CNC

i use a mill with diameter 1.778mm but the hole is to big,
and dont fit to my dxf. I choose a adapt leading settings.

i send you the lcam file, i hope somebody can help me!

General Mach Discussion / How to reduce speed of Kress Router

Hello,

i have finish to build my first CNC with successful usage of Mach 3 (Nice Product)

So i use a Kress 800FME Router with rotation speed from 10000 to 30000tr/mn.

Do you know a system to reduce this speed to less, so that i can drill hole in the
table ?

Or i search also a shema for an command circuit for On-Off Spindle and for adjust
rotation speed.
