General Mach Discussion / THC problems

My plasma table was working perfectly but I decided to add a Proma THC 150. I hooked it all up and put the proma in TEST mode and mach 3 is recieving the arc ok, up and down signals and mach 3 is making corresponding adjustments to the Z axis (the z axis is going up and down in the DRO) but the physical Z
axis motor is not moving at all. Matter of fact, when the proma is sending input signals none of the axis will move. I tried XYZ jog keyboard commands and the numbers change in the DRO but no movement of the motors........ As soon as I take the proma out of TEST mode and no signals are coming, the XYZ all work perfectly.
This is on a parallel port BOB and the mach 3 appears to be licensed. No limitations.
Any ideas?
