Galil / dmc 4060 0-10v spindle mach 4

hey guys

i am currently in the process of doing a upgrade to my CNC router which use a galil dmc 4060 on mach 4 but i am trying to get my spindle to work using 0-10v

i have set the spindle to the E axis and i am able to get it to enable and disable the spindle on pin 7 but i have been unable to figure out how to get the galil to do the 0-10v output
am i missing something?

hello

im planing on upgrading my current 4kw er20 collect spindle to a atc spindle is there any brands or types you guys would recommend or ones i should stay away from also this is a more heavy duty machine that i plan on doing stainless steel on but i only also have 240v single phase

Galil / encoder feed back

hello

im currently rewiring my cnc router which uses a galil 4060 and closed loop servo motors,

have any of you guys tried to "parallel up" the motor encoder to its drive and to the galil dmc at the same time so mach4 gets a encoder input or should i just buy some extra encoders and put them on the other ends of the ball screw

Mach4 General Discussion / mach 4 machine coordinates not showing

hi

so for some reason when i move my machine around via jogging none of the coordinates change  all they do is flash and switch between positive and negative and might jump to like 0.003mm and thats it, im using a galil 4060 and arunning the latest plugin

Mach4 General Discussion / mach 4 reverse motor direction

hello

i have been trying to reverse the direction of my x axis which has two slaved motors both go the same direction but i need to reverse it and i tried doing that through the galil plugin control and the motor tab in control but nothing seems to change like i tried the other axis and nothing.

Mach4 General Discussion / mach 4 testing limits and home switches inputs

hello

so im moving my machine from mach 3 to mach 4 its is a cnc router with a galil dmc 4080 controller and uses a gantry with dual motors i have limit switches at each end of the axis and proximity switches for the homes but i want to know is there some way i can test the limits and the homes like the diagnostic page we use to have in mach 3 were you could see what limits, homes, and other inputs were active?

General Mach Discussion / jogging gantry

hello

so im new to mach 3 and to the whole cnc router thing (more of a 3d printing guy) and iv been working on my cnc router for about a year now (1.6m x 3m bed) and i use a large gantry system power by two 20nm stepper motor hybrids with separate drives connected to a galil 4080 but the problem is i have got the x and a axis slaved together which is working as they home together but how can i jog the master and slave axis together at the same time?

Galil / Galil 4080 A axis wont slave to X axis mach 3

Hello

i am trying to slave my A, Axis to my X, axis for my CNC router gantry, but what ever i try i cannot seem to get them synced together, each side has there own limits and home switches which are fine and the motors work fine individual but after i tried to slave them i cannot get them to jog together 

does the galil 4080 not support slaving axis through mach 3?

if you need anymore information let me know
