Greetings everyone! Here is an Antiochian Cross I made using LazyCAM and Mach3. It is a good example of what can be done with a 0.5mm carbide endmill. I am selling items like these on e-bay to finance my ever increasingly expensive hobby. Yes, I like to tell people I am the plant manager of tiny factory. I am both labor and management. Almost rivals laser engraving, don't you think? Happy cutting, everybody!

Just wanted to post a picture of my machine. It has really worked well for me and it didn't cost that much to build. It has been a great first project in the world of CNC. In anticipation of possible questions. Yes, those are wine bottles in the background and no, I don't drink from those when running the CNC even when I am having bad backlash problems. Also, yes that is Bow flex and it works great, but no, I don't workout on it... but it makes a fine bench for my tools while working on my CNC. Thanks.

Greetings. Just want to show the celtic cross I made using AutoCAD LT and LazyCAM. The cross was cut out and pocketed by LazyCAM. That left me with only the fun part: cutting the knotwork. What used to take me a couple of days, now takes me a couple of hours.

Show"N"Tell ( What you have made with your CNC machine.) / Russian Cross

Here is a 4" tall Russian Orthodox cross I've made from Cherry wood. There are some problems I've since corrected with the setup. I was having some backlash issues that are gone with the addition of anti-backlash lead nuts. Also, the cutter I used for this wasn't sharp enough. Tiny cutter at 0.0512" single spiral cut flute works good as a wood router.
