FAQs / A axis goes dead when I config to slave with Y

My A axis stops working when I config to slave it to the Y axis.
It works fine when its independent , I slave the axis to Y and reboot and its dead, remove the slave config reboot and its fine again.
How do I get it to move with the Y axis
