General Mach Discussion / Relay Issues

Utilizing Mach 3 on a cnc router. I setup a stand-alone 5-volt relay to run a 24-volt pneumatic solenoid for an air blast. I originally utilized Output 8 for controlling the relay. Initially for some strange reason, the relay was controlled off/on by the Reset button. I changed to a different Output and the issue went away and now relay works correctly.

I’m setting up another separate relay (same as first relay) and I’m having the same issue. I changed to a different Output and the Reset button triggers the relay off/ on again. I hope this is enough information for help.

Any thoughts on things I could check out?

Hello,

In search of a Mach3 professional to work one on one basis that can help me setup ATC for CNC Router.
I’m utilizing Mach3, 2010 Screenset (currently manual tool change) and have all hardware and software in place.
Basically, aid in setting up Mach3 for ATC, changing/ adding screen set and proofing/editing macros which I all ready have.
Although, I'm familiar with Mach 3 software and have a solid understanding, this is not my area of expertise.

Mach3 Turn,Cycle Screen. How do I delete program files under the Recent tab? I need to remove a few old files.

Hello,

CNC wood lathe with rear tool post as X axis. The issue is the axis doesn’t make contact with material. It appears it’s cutting in the opposite direct. Is this basically a changing of perimeter issue? Or more then this.  Thanks for the help.

Mach Screens / Mach3 Turn XYZ Screen

Hello,

I would like to add a Y axis in addition to the current X and Z to Mach3 turn. Can anyone point me in the direction of this screen set ?or anyone be interested in creating ?

General Mach Discussion / Dust Collector M9 Not Toggling Off Relay

Conditions- Mach3,parallel port, utilizing two axis ( X and Z) , four axis BOB with one relay , Huanyang VFD. Using mounted relay on BOB to control VFD spindle. Utilizing a stand alone relay (5 volt) to power dust collector from BOB stepper axis output pin 16 . When I write the M7/M8 command in MDI line it powers dust collector motor on just fine. When I write M9 in MDI line, the command powers off the relay but after two-three cycles of M9 command the relay will no longer power off dust collector motor. When I activate the Estop or trigger a  limit switch the motor will not power off  after two-three cycles. Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting? Thanks for the help.
