HiCON Motion Controller / Hicon Integra 7766 (old version) Following Error issue
« on: September 26, 2022, 09:04:22 AM »
Hello,
I'm using Mach4 and Hicon Ingtegra 7766 controller. The controller drives IHSV57 china servos. It works well except in occassional situation (like few times probing with very slow speed) when I get 'Following Error exceed limits' message and the hole system is starting to make unusual hard moving. If I reset a controller everything is fine again.
I'm not using any kind of feedback so I'm wondering how is it possible to generate following errors? It doesn't help to set max following error very high. Trying to set zero (sholud ignore following errors) is not working either in this case I will have following error by each move(??)
Configuration:
Win10
Mach4 build 4612
Hicon Integra 7766 (older version) Firmware 2.24
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any advice!
