General Mach Discussion / Need help with mach 3

Hi guys,
I've got a problem that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere.
When you load your code on standard mach 3 and press start my machine moves the Z axis up 20mm to a safe position before travelling down to proceed with the cut.
Problem is I want to run a job which needs all the Z height I can get and I want to change this initial travel to 2mm or so?
Is this possible?
