General Mach Discussion / Pulse Frequency

HI All,
I'm trying to get a NVEM controller system up and running and have many issues.
Currently in the Diagnostic tab of Mach3, the Pulse Frequency shows as EXTERNAL. How/where do I change this??? to the 25K+ that is normal?
I have tried the Port & Pins screen and that has 25K checked.
